Le patch 10.9 of Teamfight Tactics was deployed on Wednesday April 29. It's hugely consistent, bringing a lot of trait changes, mostly nerfs, but also a revamp for tier 1 level 3 champions.

Two new Galaxies in patch 10.9
As usual, two new Galaxies will join TFT during this patch 10.9:
- Treasure Chest: All monsters and minions in PVE rounds drop an orb.
- Star Cluster: All tier 1, 2, and 3 Carousel champions are level 2. The second Carousel will still only have tier 2 champions.
The chance of Galaxies spawning is now:
- Treasure chest : 12,5% ββof games
- star clusters : 12,5% ββof games
- The Neekovers : 7,5% ββof games
- Lilac Nebula : 7,5% ββof games
- Medium legends : 7,5% ββof games
- super dense galaxy : 7,5% ββof games
- Commercial sector : 10% ββof games
- normal part : 35% ββof games
Patch 10.9 Trait Changes
In addition to a rework of Chrononaut, this patch brings many nerfs to almost all synergies to 4 or 6 units.

Riot changed how the Chrononaut trait works.

In terms of pure stats, this is a nerf. However, the bonus that comes in more smoothly and quickly, which generally makes it more effective in the late game when fights are short.

Finally, TFT receives some system changes, especially on the drop percentages of champions by level. These are intended to increase the possibility of having level 3 champions for those who cost 1 gold, but reduced for those who cost 3 gold:

Additionally, all players are now guaranteed to receive at least one Gray Orb (containing gold or champions) in the first three PVE rounds.
Finally, the players can no longer sell a unit or pick up an orb if doing so would cause an item to be removed or a component. As a reminder, you can only have 10 objects on your bench, if you picked up an eleventh it was deleted.
This patch also has some minor bugfixes.
