A recent addition to patch 9.23, this hyper roll strategy based comp has grown hugely in popularity thanks to its ability to use champions that are usually under-exploited but become very strong when they are all at level 3.

Wood (3) |
At the start of the fight, one of your wood units clones itself. |
Druid (2) |

Assassin (3) |
Innate: Assassins jump to the furthest enemy at the start of combat. Assassins have +10% critical chance and deal 75% more damage on critical hits. |
Desert (2) |
Opponents lose 50% of their armor. |
Mystical (2) |
All allies have +40 magic resistance. |
This composition is mainly based on renekton as a carry, which becomes extremely difficult to kill once level 3. In truth, Janna et Nami are not at all the important pieces of the composition, which obtains its full strength at level 6 with 5 level 3 champions (all except Kha'Zix).
Preferred items
morellonomicon | ghost dancer | dragon claw | Thief's Gloves |
As said above, the goal of this composition is to have a lot of champions who have a lot of stats since they are level 3, and mainly to capitalize on Renekton's ultimate to make him almost unkillable thanks to his healing. This is why the ghost dancer and dragon claw work perfectly on it. the morellonomicon is used to give him a substantial damage boost.
Since this comp is based on a lot of level 3 champions, the Thief's Gloves allow you to give additional items to units that have a lot of stats to benefit from them: The White, Ivern, or Diana.
Diana and LeBlanc can be equipped with damage items, such as the Precious Gauntlet, or the Lance de Shojin in order to use their loop ultimate. Kha'Zix also works well with offensive items, including the Infinity blade which boosts the critical damage of his ultimate, and l'Seraph's Embrace so it spam.
Start of the game and progress
The beginning of the game for this composition is quite clear: you want to keep all units within 1 or 2 Range of the composition (maokai, Ivern, renekton, The White et Diana) in order to pass them level 3 quickly via a strategy " hyper roll ". This consists of not using your gold before the Krugs, then after this round to spend everything to refresh the available champions in order to take advantage of the low price of the units.
It is important to watch what your opponents are doing before committing: if you are more than 2 players aiming for the same champions, it may be very difficult to obtain them at level 3. If you see that the others don't seem to be particularly keen on it, go ahead and try to have at least 50 gold after the Krugs (while still being level 4).

After the post-Krugs roll period, it's likely that you won't have all your level 3 champions yet. save up to Wolves, then roll again to get the last missing champions and pass level 6 to add a third Assassin (ideally Kha'Zix).
If you need more gold, an interesting strategy is to save up to 50 gold again, then use all your excess gold (above 50) each round to roll, trying not to not go under. Do this until you get at least 3 or 4 level 3 champions, then start leveling up with your gold.
At level 8, the goal is to add a pair of units that will benefit your composition the most: if you're dealing with a lot of magic damage, Mystics will be excellent (Nami, Janna, Soraka ou Master Yi), while Clouds will work better against physical damage (Janna, Yasuo, Qiyana on a map Clouds).
Positioning and options at the end of the game
The positioning of this composition is very free, the main thing being that renekton et maokai be your main tanks, while your three Assassins are on the opposite side of the opposing carries in order to jump on them. This positioning can be modified according to the Elementary boxes.
As said above, the hard core of this composition is based on the first 6 units: maokai, Ivern, renekton, The White, Diana et Kha'Zix. The other two can be optionally Mystique, Clouds, or any other synergy or even just a pair of strong champions. singed ou Zed are for example excellent units at level 2 even without any particular synergy.
Since you will usually have a level deficit with the hyper roll strategy, you may not find Kha'Zix easily, in which case any other Assassin will do until you get it.
If you had a Spatula, it may be interesting to build a Youmuu Specter Blade in order to have 6 Assassins at level 8, by adding for example Qiyana et Zed ( nocturne).
If, as mentioned above, you see that several other players are starting on the same composition, and it is therefore risky to hyper roll, do not worry. All early game units work well at level 2 and can be sold for their original price, meaning it's perfectly possible to pivot to any other comp using your accumulated gold to level up quickly.
