The composition Cyborg / Chrononaute

TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics

It is now possible to play 6 Cyborgs early in the game thanks to the addition of Vayne, which will therefore serve as a mid-game carry. Thanks to it, it is easy to make a series of victory, thus making it possible to take a lead on the economy. However, it will generally be replaced by irelia later in the game. This indeed counts on Echo et irelia to inflict heavy damage to the opposing backline, especially if the latter is changed to Infiltrator.

When to Play This Comp and Victory Conditions

It is not uncommon for this composition to be disputed, so we recommend that you try to have certain conditions to play it:

  • Have at least 3 Cyborgs quickly in the game (Leona, Fiora, Lucian, Vi...) to get started.
  • Have several important components for your Vayne ou irelia (Training gloves, BF Glaive, curved arch, Spatula).

Indeed, if you want win the game, you will absolutely need Echo and other factors may help:

  • Ekko, Thresh (with interesting units on the bench) levels 2. Having your legendary units upgraded will make the difference between a top 2/3 and a top 1. Ideally you will want to be 9 level.
  • Irelia level 3 is an alternative victory condition, but rather rare since the number available is rather low.

Usually Vayne will deal physical damage items before being sold in favor ofirelia later in the game. The best items on her are the combination of TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Infinity blade et TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics hand of justice so his ultimate can one-shot fragile champions. The best third object is the TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Infiltrator's Claw if you have a TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Spatula so that she can directly attack the opposing backline. Otherwise, a defensive object like TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Guardian angel ou TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Thirst for blood will be interesting.

Other items can go to Irelia, like for example TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Headdress of Rabadon + TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics un blue buff if you have some TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Chopsticks too big, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Doom Blade or even TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Last breath.

Echo will usually be your second carry in the late game. He can use many items, and you will often have to make do with what is offered to you during lategame carousels and PVE rounds. Among the best items on Echo, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Guardian angel guarantees him to use his ultimate usually twice, the TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics morellonomicon can be applied on many opponents and TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Ion Spark reduces opponents' magic resistance.

Alternatively, he can use a plethora of offensive items (TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Infinity blade, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics giant slayer, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Deposed king blade...) as utilities (TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Zeke's Crest, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Chalice of Power, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics morellonomicon, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics red buff...). Finally, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Thief's Gloves can be very effective.

Spatula and other objects

As for the other objects, we are not going to go into details, the goal is to have an object on each Cyborg ideally. Here is a list of interesting objects on each of them, from best to worst. You can also give them simple components.

  • Fiora: TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Redemption, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Zéphyr, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Zeke's Crest, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Portail de Zz'Rot
  • Leona : TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Zéphyr, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Bramble Armor, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Portail de Zz'Rot
  • Lucian: TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics red buff, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics I miss Luden, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Dagger of Statikk
  • We : TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics frozen heart, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics ion spark, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics morellonomicon
  • Vayne : TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Infinity Blades, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Last breath, TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics giant slayer

If you find a TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Spatula, the best choice will generally be to make a TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Infiltrator's Claw for irelia, so that it goes to target the opposing backline with Echo and enjoys an attack speed boost at the start of the fight. It is also interesting to change Vayne ou Echo en TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics Master of Blades to greatly boost their DPS.

Course of the game

With the arrival of Vayne, this composition should be played with an aggressive economy, aiming to make a winning streak using mid-game power to get into lategame with a golden lead.

Early game (levels 3/4/5)

Ideally, at 3 level you will want Leona, Fiora et Lucian, with the possibility of adding Graves ou Kog'Maw au 4 level to give Atomizer à Lucian. If you have these 4 units, it will be interesting to pass level 4 during the first or second PVP round (2-1 ou 2-2).

At the start of the game, you should not complete objects but try to have components on your different cyborgs so that they take advantage of the origin. If you have the opportunity to carry items (for irelia for example), wait Vayne to equip them, or give them temporarily to Lucian which can also serve as a transition unit.

An interesting strategy if you have already bought 4 XP in 2-1 or 2-2 is to pre-level in 2-3 : when you are at 4/10 XP, buy 4 for go to level 5 at the start of the next round. This allows you to have champions in your shop as if you were level 5, which increases your chances of finding Vayne et Vi for example.

Au 5 level, your best option will be to play 3 Cyborgs + 2 Chronos. For this purpose, Vi + Blitzcrank et Lucian + Ezreal with a third Cyborg will be very effective, while Vayne + Caitlyn also works very well. In the worst case, you can still play Leona, Fiora, Lucian et Graves and just add a Initiator additional, ideally Jayce.

Your goal will be to be winning streak. If you have the opportunity to slam interesting objects (Redemption, frozen heart, Echo of Luden for Lucian...), you can to keep this series, keeping the important components for the objects ofirelia.

Midgame (levels 6/7)

If you're on a winning streak, try to pass 6 level en round 3-2. You can even afford to roll a little to find upgrades of your champions (Vayne, Vi...). The goal is that you can continue to be strong while rebuilding your economy for the future. However, avoid going below 20 gold.

After saving, you should pass level 7 in round 4-1 et roll again. Your objective at this point is to try to find your last cyborgs (especially irelia) to switch to 6 + 1 sniper if you play Vayne carry. If you already have Irelia level 2, enter a Master of Blades instead to have 3.

If you don't get your hands on Irelia, an interesting choice will be to play 3 Cyborgs (Vi, Lucian et Vayne) + 4 Chrononauts (Caitlyn, Shen, Blitzcrank et Ezreal). Normally, you should always be strong, which will allow you to rebuild your economy quickly: you will need a lot of gold. Indeed, you will no longer have to roll or buy XP throughout stage 4, in order to pass level 8 and 5-1.

Endgame (level 8+)

Once you have passed level 8, you will have to make a choice:

  • You can roll all your gold to find Echo et Thresh because you're not strong enough, and playing for a 3-4 top.
  • You can continue tosave to pass level 9 and add an additional unit by maximizing your chances of having Echo et Thresh levels 2 if you are already strong enough.
  • You can slow roll remaining 8 level to try to unlock Irelia level 3 if no one else is playing your composition. This last choice is especially recommended if you have one or two Neeko's Helping Hands to help you. If you touch it, you will probably be able to top 2 or even top 1.

This decision is obviously to be made according to the circumstances of your game, taking into account the following factors: your HP, the number of remaining players, the average power of the other players, the number of upgrades you have, the ideal items or not ...

If you pass 9 level, you should try adding an extra synergy (Sniper for Vayne, Gnar for Vi, for an Infiltrator if you haven't had Spatula...) or just a powerful late game unit (Aurelion Sol, Lulu, Janna...).

If you have Thresh, try to have interesting units on the bench as well (Urgot, Soraka, Blitzcrank, Wukong, Lulu...).

Different possible transitions

There are different variations of this composition, usually replacing the stroke Cyborg by Chrononauts if you are too challenged (more than 3 players total in the lobby playing Cyborg).

If you have Vayne and that cyborgs are disputed, one option is to pivot to a composition Astronaut / Chrononaut, using it as main carry (or selling it for the benefit of Jhin) with Teemo in support. This composition has an excellent frontline and offers plenty of control, allowing snipers to inflict damage while standing back.

Similar to the previous option, it is possible to play irelia carry without necessarily needing the 6 Cyborgs. In this situation you are trying to just keep the best units and add 4 Chrononauts to boost everyone's attack speed. It is especially recommended if you have Echo level 2 and no Spatula for change irelia en Infiltrator.

Positioning Tips

TFT: Compo Cyborg and Chrononaut on Teamfight Tactics

There is no precise rule on the positioning of this composition, but above all things to try to remember according to the positioning of your opponents:

  • Try to have irelia et Ekko against opposing carries, so that they are targeted as a priority by your Infiltrators. One irelia has no Spatula, put it in second line so that it is not targeted first by opponents.
  • Position Thresh so it attacks a champion whose ultimate matters first (Gnar, Gangplank, Wukong...) in order to delay it thanks to its class of Pillard de mana.
  • Vi targets the opponent farthest from her with her ultimate: put her on the opposite side of the opponent's carry so that she can go get it.
