Dragons have 75% magic resistance.

TFT: Compo Exodia Metamorph, Savage and Sorcerer Shapeshifter (3)

Shapeshifters gain 60% of their maximum HP when transforming.

TFT: Compo Exodia Metamorph, Savage and Sorcerer Sorcerer (3)

All allies have +40% Magic Damage.

This composition is only one version of the different teams of Shapeshifters which are viable. Using both Dragons and 4 Sauvages, it allows you to alternate between two potential carries depending on the items available: Aurelion Sol ou Shyvana.

In the first case, it is the enormous magic damage that takes precedence and will decimate the opposing team with a single blow, while in the second, Shyvana is more of an excellent DPS that is very hard to kill.

Warmog, living armor Guardian angel Pistolame Hextech morellonomicon

The advantage of this composition is that it is quite flexible in terms of objects. If here we offer you the best items for Shyvana carry, with the Warmog, L 'Guardian angel and Pistolame Hextech to make it almost unkillable, other options are possible.

Le morellonomicon will almost always go on Aurelion Sol who is able to apply it to multiple targets at the same time and benefits a lot from magic damage. Also, it can work well with mana items, like the TFT: Compo Exodia Metamorph, Savage and Sorcerer Lance de Shojin, or the TFT: Compo Exodia Metamorph, Savage and Sorcerer Darkin (especially with a Morgana for the bonus Demon instead of Twisted fate)

L'Guardian angel is not only a good object on Shyvana, it is especially formidable on Gnar to ensure he can use his ultimate before he dies. TFT: Compo Exodia Metamorph, Savage and Sorcerer yummi can also work very well on it, so that he uses his ultimate faster and allows more composition flexibility by dispensing with a Wizard (other thanAhri et Aurelion Sol).

Last but not least, Twisted fate is a good mid-game carry with a few items, including the TFT: Compo Exodia Metamorph, Savage and Sorcerer Dagger of Statikk et TFT: Compo Exodia Metamorph, Savage and Sorcerer l'Echo de Luden which work well on him and allow him to do good damage in addition to generating mana for his team.

Start of the game and progress

The first units that will set the tone for this composition will usually be the Wild Starter: Warwick, Nidalee et Ahri. Thanks to the significant attack speed bonus from which they benefit, they will be able to function correctly during the first rounds.

If you get a Ahri level 2, it may be interesting to quickly go on Twisted fate and another Wizard (usually Kassadine ou Morgana for the frontline) to quickly have 3 of them. It is then possible to equip objects in Twisted Fate, such as theEcho of Luden for a very effective mid game.

Then, the main objective will be to obtain Shyvana level 2 ASAP and start equipping it, then find Gnar which is one of the centerpieces of the composition. Indeed, it gives access to 3 Shapeshifters and 4 Sauvages the same time. It is interesting to save quietly and to pass level 7 after the Corbins, then roll as much as possible to find Gnar et Aurelion Sol.

The time to find these last two, it is possible to play Vi et Jayce as a replacement, the latter offering the bonus brawler, hextech et Shapeshifter. Rengar is also a temporary option for the bonus of 4 Savages the time that Gnar come.

Positioning and options at the end of the game

TFT: Compo Exodia Metamorph, Savage and Sorcerer

This composition takes advantage of being as close as possible to the opponents at the start of the fight so that Gnar et Shyvana transform as quickly as possible. Gnar is however to be put in the second line if it is not level 2, because otherwise it risks dying before ultimate. Twisted fate is in the center of the composition in order to give everyone mana with their blue card.

Si Twisted fate is usually the best option in third wizard, because of his ability to give mana when using his blue card, he is certainly not irreplaceable. Morgana may work if you have a Darkin for the bonus Demon, or Lulu is also effective if you add a third Yordle at level 8 (Kennan, poppy...).

Speaking of level 8, several choices are possible. Usually a frontline unit like Cho'Gath is never a mistake, since he takes advantage of the bonus brawler with Warwick and offers excellent area control that takes advantage of magic damage from Wizards

Pantheon can also work in third Dragon, especially if you don't have morellonomicon for the healing debuff, since he offers it directly with his ultimate. Finally, as a legendary unit, Karthus is also an interesting choice (especially at level 2) to decimate the opposing team even faster.

Finally, don't forget that this composition is not the only viable one that uses the Shapeshifters. It is possible to rotate to Version 6 Shapeshifters for example if you find Swain, or other versions that use more Demons for example.
