The Light composition is one of the best in set 2, capable of decimating opposing teams once completed thanks to the damage of Vayne in carry and very powerful invocations of Yorick. However, it is dependent on certain level 3 units, and can be difficult to obtain if other players try to play it in your game.

Ouragan de Runaan Guinsoo's Raging Blade red buff Talisman of Light

The main carry of the team is Vayne, who will activate his Silver Tiles on two units at the same time thanks to theOuragan de Runaan. With the attack speed provided by the Prowlers and the units Light Guinsoo's Raging Blade is the default choice as a second item to quickly ramp up to more than 3 attacks per second.

Vayne's third item can change depending on the game. the red buff is handy, since it allows him to apply anti-healing and burning damage to his targets, but other damage options can also work: TFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics Doom BladeTFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics hand of justice, TFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics giant slayer ou TFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics Infinity blade.

If you want to replace one of your units Light for more synergies, or try to reach 9 Lights at the end of the game, the Talisman of Light is a very interesting object, since it transforms a unit into Light. It can also be simply used on Kindred so that she gets the healing and attack speed of the origin.

Last but not least, Nasus will generally be obtained at level 3, it can then be equipped with a few tank items, such as the TFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics Gantelet givrant or TFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics Warmogliving armor. If your Yorick dies before he can use his ultimate, a TFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics Guardian angel might also help.

Start of the game and progress

At the start of the game, the composition Light especially works with a strategy of " hyper roll » : save as much as possible until the Krugs, before rolling all his gold to try to get some champions at level 3 (Vayne et Nasus priority). If you lose in the early game, it will allow you to get better carousel items.

  • For more details on the different stages of the hyper roll strategy, see our dedicated article.

Once you've made your roll strategy, which usually ends after the Wolves, you'll need to save as much as you can. Logically, your level 3 champions should be strong enough to allow you not to lose too much life. It will then be interesting to have 3 Lights (Nasus, Vayne and another) and another Prowler to help the latter.

You will have to try to quickly pass level 7, and roll at this moment in order to find Yorick which is the most difficult unit to obtain for your composition, and which is absolutely necessary. Once your 6 Lights have been acquired, it may be interesting to start saving again for level 8, or even 9 if you want to make top 1.

Positioning and options at the end of the game

TFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics

This position protects Vayne as much as possible, also keeping it away from potential Assassins who will target Aatrox et Soraka first. If Vayne is the last one alive, she will have a lot of attack speed and can decimate any remaining opponents. This positioning can be modified according to the Elementary boxes.

Master Yi offers a lot of bonuses, with Mystique but also Master of Blades with Aatrox et Shadows with Kindred. However, it can be replaced by Nami, which also benefits from Mystique and offers very interesting zone control.

If you can't get Vayne level 3 because other players are also playing Light, consider using another champion for carry. In this case, the choice may be Aatrox, with magic damage items (TFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics Rabadon's Headdress, TFT: Compo Light, Ranger and Mystic on Teamfight Tactics Pistolame Hextech...) and another Master of Blades to support him.

A very strong and interesting late game possibility is to add Lux Light if you manage to find it and you have a Talisman of Light. Since this one counts 2 times for the original bonuses, this will give you 9 Lights, which guarantees the top 1.

It is also possible, instead of playing Master Yi and Kindred, to turn to Zed and another Summoner. If you give a Talisman of Light in Zed, each of his clones will heal all allies Light when he dies, which makes him extremely effective.
