The Sylvester (Elderwood) / Hunter (Hunter) composition

TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight TacticsWhen in doubt, always rely on this image for the objects rather than those in the "Procedure" section.

The composition Brawler / Hunter is one of the easiest to play: it can play different variations ranging from 8 Brawlers (Brawler) To 6 Sylvestres, always counting on Ashe to deal the majority of the damage while the rest of the units take the damage. It may be wise to play Sept. in secondary carry, this one applying different damage from Ashe, with a lot of area burst in magic damage to weaken the opposing squishys.

The best Chosen (Chosen) champions

Ashe Chosen Hunter / Sylvester: Your chosen best is ideally Ashe since she is your main carry. Having her as Chosen Hunter gives you an interesting bonus, but you can also play her as Chosen Sylvester.

Nunu ou hecarim Chosen Sylvester : If you want to play 6 Sylvesters at the end of the game, having a chosen Sylvester is very important.

Kindred ou Warwick Chosen Hunter : Having an elected Hunter can also be interesting to be able to play 3 or 4 of them at the end of the game.

Chosen Brawler Sett: It's quite common to go level 9 with this composition to play legendary units, and adding a 2-star Sett directly will be very powerful.

When to Play Comp and Victory Conditions

When to play the comp

This composition is possible to force, but try to meet at least one of these conditions before considering it.

  • You have Brawlers at the start of the game : The Brawlers start is the easiest to follow up on Hunters and Sylvesters, thanks to Maokai, Nunu and Warwick in particular.
  • You have interesting objects for Ashe : Ashe needs interesting items, especially with Curved Bows to make Guinsoo's Raging Blade in particular.

Top 1 Conditions

You will usually need one of these conditions to win the game.

  • Ashe 3 stars : This condition is difficult to achieve when you are challenged, but it is very powerful.
  • Level 9 with all your 2-star champions : Level 9 generally allows you to have your legendary 2 stars more easily, especially champions like Sett, Kayn or Azir.

Course of the game

If you want to force this composition, you should aim for a TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight Tactics BF Sword or some TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight Tactics Training gloves.

Early game (Stage 2)

Levels 3/4 (Round 2-3)

TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight Tactics

Your best early game option will almost always be to play a combination of Brawlers et Aphelios in a transitional unit. He can then hold Ashe's items. If you can get your hands on Selenites, it should be very powerful.

With this composition you generally want to pass level 4 naturally in round 2-3 and have about 10 PO at this stage.

Level 5 (Round 2-7)

TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight Tactics

Au 5 level, you can for example add Chosen Brawler (Soot Kench, Vi, maokai, sylas indeed Nunu) to have 4. Otherwise, a simple elected master key (Janna Sage, Hecarim Initiator...) will do. You can also add Kindred if you find her to have 2 Hunters.

Unless you are in big winning streak, in which case you can pass level 5 from round 2-3 to keep it, you should generally wait for the round 2-7 to buy 4 XP.

Midgame (Stages 3 and 4)

Level 6 (Round 3-2 or 3-4)

TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight Tactics

Your most logical addition to level 6 is Kindred. You can also start playing 3 Sylvestres if you found Nunu, especially if it is elected Sylvester. In this case, it easily replaces Soot Kench. If you have sylas, Lisandra et Aphelios 2 stars with Selenite, you should be very strong at this point which saves you the best.

Depending on the state of your economy, you should spend 6 level en round 3-2 (if you are in winning streak) or delay in 3-4 if it costs you too much. Try to still have at least 30 or 40 gold available after leveling up.

If the first chosen one you had at your disposal was weak, or if you have already lost a lot of HP, you can sell your elected and roll up to 20 gold max to find a chosen one at 3 gold that will allow you to be powerful at this point (Kindred, yummi, Nunu...).

Level 7 (Round 4-1 or 4-2)

TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight Tactics

At level 7, you should have found your first copies of your champions at 4 gold (Ashe et Warwick). If you have Aphelios 2 stars et Ashe 1 star, wait before transferring your items.

Ideally, you don't want to roll at level 7 unless you are really in trouble: you have a much better chance of getting your upgrades at level 8. If you still don't have an Ashe, consider rolling a little all the same, avoiding going below 30 gold .

Endgame (Stage 5+)

Level 8 (Round 5-1 or 5-2)

TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight Tactics

Usually you want pass level 8 at the beginning of stage 5 to still have a good economy and roll for your upgrades. If you are in winning streak, you can board earlier (in round 4-5 for example). If you had a elected at the start of the game (Such as Tahm Kench elected Brawler for example), sell it before rolling to try to find a better one.

You should then roll for your 2 star championsIncluding Ashe et Warwick, for an elected strong if you don't already have one and why not find Sept.

Another option, especially if you have found a good one elected Sylvester (Ashe, Nunu...) and if you have a Spatula is to play 6 Sylvestres by adding Ezreal.

TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight Tactics

Finally, you can also play the version follower if you find I ne quickly.

TFT: Compo Sylvestre (Elderwood) / Chasseur (Hunter) on Teamfight Tactics

9 level

Once you have all your champions (except Sept. et Kayn) 2 stars, you have a choice to make. If you are not pas I answered sur Ashe and you still have lots of HP, you can boost your economy to 50 gold and slow roll (roll each round your excess gold above 50) to try to get it in 3 stars. This strategy is especially recommended if you have a few Neeko's Helping Hands.

If you can't play for Ashe 3, then you should consider upgrading. 9 level around the beginning of stage 6 to have a better chance of hitting Kayn et Sett 2 stars. This usually allows you to add powerful late game unit synergies, like Zilean, Azir ou Read without.

If you don't have a great elected (Ashe Hunter for example), consider sell your chosen before roll level 9 : this allows you to find a legendary chosen one who is immediately very powerful.

Positioning Tips

Sept. should be alone in the frontline at the start of the fight: the faster he drops below 40% HP, the faster he will come back into the fight with a boost.

If the standard positioning is to have your Brawlers in front and your carries in the back row, you can choose a more packed positioning to prevent Assassins to kill Ashe, surrounding it with tanks.
