Champions and synergies with Mercury
Here is one of the most interesting objects among the upgrades of the fighting gloves. His defensive ability should make him one of the most sought after of the lot, especially when it comes to protecting his team's main carry. Since most champions of this type have two core items and one defensive item, Mercury will do the trick for the latter category.
Where it's most interesting is on champions who use their healing to stay alive and are vulnerable when they can't attack anymore. So it should work on Draven et Rengar in combination with their Thirst for blood, or on the different users of the Pistolame Hextech.
Additionally, Mercury may also have similar utility toGuardian angel, namely guaranteeing that a champion can use his ultimate at least once without being controlled first. The concerned will then be Sejuani, Gnar, Cho'Gath or even Karthus.
