This composition is mainly based on Kayle which is a great late game carry, with several synergies around it that are there to boost and protect it. It has the particularity of being very flexible, because only the 3 Master of Blades et 2 Valkyries are really necessary for it to be powerful, the other units being all modifiable according to your needs.
When to Play This Comp and Victory Conditions
This composition will quite rarely be the one you aim for from the start, but rather a backup when you can't play. 6 Cyborgs ou Atomizer for example. Generally, you should play it if:
- You have a lot ofCurved arches, which aren't very useful in most other compositions.
- You found a Kayle early in the game, or with a good component during the first Carousel (in the Lilac Nebula Galaxy).
To get to a top 1, you will have to high roll one of the following conditions:
- 2 to 3 level 2 legendary champions (Miss Fortune, Thresh, Lulu...) to 9 level.
- Kayle level 3, which will be very rare but will allow it to be really very powerful.
Preferred items
Kayle |
||||
Guinsoo's Raging Blade |
Ultra-fast cannon |
Guardian angel |
||
+ | + | + | ||
Kayle inflicts a lot of base damage with his ultimate which causes additional area magic damage. As a result, she primarily benefits from attack speed, making Guinsoo's Raging Blade the best choice on it, often with a Ultra-fast cannon for the extra reach. Kayle will also need a defensive item as she remains fragile, theGuardian angel remains the best option by far.
If you don't have Guinsoo's Raging Blade, other offensive objects can do the trick: a hand of justice which is rather happening everywhere. Since it inflicts guaranteed crits with the origin Valkyrie Infinity blade is an attractive option. It also works with Precious Gauntlet, which further boosts area damage crits. |
Miss Fortune |
||||
Rabadon's Headdress |
Seraph's Embrace |
Gripper trap |
||
+ | + | + | ||
Miss Fortune will be your secondary carry, especially in the late game. You will not always have the opportunity to have 3 items on it since it will arrive very late, but ideally items that increase its magic damage (Rabadon's Headdress, Precious Gauntlet) and its base mana (Seraph's Embrace) will be preferred.
defensive items like Gripper trap ou Mercury will be useful to prevent his ultimate from being interrupted. She can also use a Guardian angel to cast his spell once he comes back to life. |
irelia |
||||
Infinity blade |
Infinity blade |
Last breath |
||
+ | + | + | ||
irelia can also act as a carry, but you will not always have enough items to give it to him. In this case, the Thief's Gloves will be your best option.
If you are lucky enough to be able to equip it, use it to assassinate its opponents with high criticals: double Infinity blade et Last breath will allow him to one-shot a lot of units with his ultimate. |
Spatula and other objects
This composition benefits very little from the spatulas. However, it is possible to have a celestial orb ( + ) if you play Lulu for example (at level 9 or with another Mystique). You can also play Kassadine instead of Thresh in that case.
If you need anti-care, a morellonomicon on the fact Miss Fortune ou Wukong will be your best option.
Course of the game
Early game (levels 3/4/5)
Since it has many viable synergies, this composition has several possible routes in the early game. The strongest will usually be to simply start with cyborgs (Leona, Fiora, Lucian) which will be very effective in the first levels. It will also be possible to donate items that will later go to Kayle at your Fiora for example.
In this scenario it is also possible to use Shen et Yasuo au 5 level for 3 Master of Blades, and to use the latter as a transition carry. Another possibility is to play a combination of Chrononauts and D'atomizers, with Lucian, Ezreal, Shen, Twisted fate et Blitzcrank for example at 5 level.
Midgame (levels 6/7)
Try to build a strong economy passing the 50 gold as soon as possible, because this training requires at least level 7 to start finding Kayle. Logically, you should be able to pass 6 level au 3-2 or 3-4 round, but you should avoid rolling at this point. You can add a second brawler if you play Chrononauts, or start entering Master of Blades (irelia, Shen, Yasuo...) if you play Cyborg. Your goal will be to pass 7 level quickly (in 3-6 ou 4-1).
Once 7 level, you'll want to roll to find your units and upgrades, especially Kayle 2 level. Feel free to play temporarily Kai'Sa also to give the bonus Valkyrie to your carry. You should also seek to find irelia as much as possible, and consider buying Soraka if you find it and need Mystics.
Endgame (level 8+)
We recommend to roll up to 20-30 gold max to be able to pass 8 level en round 5-1. Since you will usually be looking to find Miss Fortune and why not Lulu level 2, it will not be uncommon for you to pass 9 level later in the game if you can afford it (by being strong enough or having enough VP). If you are too weak, you should generally roll to level 8 to try to find your last upgrades and finish your composition as well.
Depending on the units you have found, your composition may look like different shapes. Indeed, you will sometimes keep the cyborgs, but in other cases you will play 4 Chrononauts instead for example. You also won't always need the Mystics. We recommend that you watch what your opponents are playing to adapt your composition according to your needs and the units that are not too contested.
If you pass 9 level, you can add a unit of your choice. There aren't a whole lot of additional synergies to get, so you should generally just target a strong unit like Wukong ou Cho'Gath which offer zone controls for example. It will also be possible to leave 4 Mystics retaining some of your other synergies.
Different possible transitions
As said above, this composition has numerous variants since the only really important condition is to have Kayle in carry with if possible 3 Master of Blades et Valkyrie. Here are some examples of alternate versions of this team.
Shen |
irelia |
Kayle |
Miss Fortune |
|
|
|
|
This version swaps the 4 Chrononauts for a more efficient frontline, depending on what you find. You can then call on Brawlers to Initiators, using units that will have been useful to you during your transition (in particular Leona et Vi en Cyborg), and keeping 2 Chrononauts. |
Shen |
irelia |
Kayle |
Miss Fortune |
Sona |
Karma |
Soraka |
Lulu |
If you deal a lot of magic damage (Wizards, Star Guardians, Rebels...), you can decide to adopt 4 Mystics. In addition to Karma which can boost the attack speed of Kayle, these units are all very strong individually, Sona et Soraka for their care and Lulu for his care. Your frontline will be much more fragile, however, especially against physical damage. |
Kayle |
Miss Fortune |
Fiora |
Leona |
Lucian |
Vi |
irelia |
Echo |
An interesting version if you find Echo quickly is to fetch 6 Cyborgs. You will then have to try to scatter your items more to benefit as much as possible from their additional stats, but they will then be very tanky, which will give time to your Kayle to inflict damage.
|
|
Shen |
Yasuo |
Master Yi |
irelia |
Kayle |
Miss Fortune |
Thresh |
If you get your hands on a lot of Master of Blades, one possibility is to go full 6 to get very high DPS from all your units. However, this version is only slightly recommended, except perhaps if you have gotten your hands on a Aurelion Sol level 2 (which will give a bonus 3 Rebels and can tank in this comp). |
Positioning Tips
The most important thing in your positioning will be to protect your Kayle. To do this, regularly monitor the opposing boards so as not to be surprised by Zéphyrs to Infiltrators, and try to position your Kayle accordingly.
If you have a Zephyr on your side, an interesting strategy can be to equip it to one of your tanks which will be at one end of the board in the front line, to have another tank at the other end and Kayle behind the latter. Thus, the opposing frontline on the side of Kayle will be untargetable, allowing the latter to directly attack the backline, while still having a tank to protect it.
An illustration of the positioning of the tip shown.
If you have a Miss Fortune 2 level, also try to protect it. If her best position is generally in a corner in order to hit as many units as possible with her ultimate, it will be more interesting to position her elsewhere if your opponents have the means to dislodge her (Infiltrators, Zephyr, Blitzcrank).
