The Brawler composition with Shyvana and Nunu
If you get a Chosen Brawler (Brawler) at the start of the game, an excellent way to capitalize on it is to go and play 8. Indeed, Shyvana et Nunu benefit enormously from bonus HP: the first because it gains even more when casting its spell, and the second because it inflicts raw damage with its spell if it has more HP than its target. Since they use different items, it's easy to play both in carries trying to pass them 3 stars.
At the end of the game, Sept. is also a very important carry with magic power items, while Ornn can give you very powerful artifacts.
The best Chosen (Chosen) champions
Shyvana ou Nunu Chosen Brawler (Brawler) : Since these two champions are your carries, they will also be your favorite chosen ones if you find them.
Any other Chosen Brawler: All in all you can play this composition with any Chosen Brawler, Vi, Soot Kench ou maokai can do the trick.
When to Play Comp and Victory Conditions
When to play the comp
This composition can be played quite easily if you meet certain conditions:
- You have a chosen Brawler quickly : You should never play this composition without a Chosen Brawler.
- You are not too challenged : This composition relies on 3-star champions, which are very difficult to obtain if you are more than 2 players on the composition.
Top 1 Conditions
You will usually need at least one condition to win the game.
- Shyvana and Nunu 3 stars : These two champions run out of steam a lot in the end of the game if they are only 2 stars.
- 2 star sett with good items : Sett is very important in the late game, since he is able to inflict huge area damage.
Preferred items

Shyvana's objects are the most important for this composition. Ouragan de Runaan : Since Shyvana's damage is mainly based on her attacks, and in particular on the burn they apply, the Runaan allows her to almost double her DPS. Other options : |

|
|
|
Nunu is also a great carry with defensive items. Pistolame hextech : Nunu inflicts huge damage with his spell, making this item very effective in keeping him alive for a long time through healing. Other options : |

|
|
Sett is the last champion you want to give items to in the late game. Precious Gauntlet : This item is ideal for increasing the damage of Sett's spell. It can be doubled, replaced by a Rabadon's Headdress or accompanied by Infinity blade. Other options : |
What to do with a Spatula?
Sylvester Sprout ( + ): With this item you can change one of your Brawlers (Sept. ou Vi for example) in Sylvester to increase his stats.
Dragon Spirit ( + ): This item makes it easier for you to play 3 Dragon Souls to boost Shyvana's DPS.
Mage Hat ( + ): Another interesting option is to change one of your carries (Nunu ou Shyvana take advantage of it very well) in Mage and add 2 more.
As usual, the Force of nature is always a great option.
Other Interesting Items
Solar Cape ou morellonomicon : If you need anti-heal, these items are very important. The Solar Cloak can go on anyone, while the Morellonomicon is most effective on Cho'Gath ou Sept..
Redemption : Since you have a lot of melee champions who are going to share the damage, Redemption can have a lot of value. It also allows Sett to return to the fight faster.
Who to put the Artefacts of Ornn on
This composition usually relies on Ornn in the late game. He creates very powerful Artifacts that take up an item slot and you can only have one per champion. Here is the list of Artifacts and who to equip them on in the composition:
- anime face, Death defiance, Eternal Winter : Nunu, Sett.
- randuin's sanctuary Rocket-propelled fist: Vi, Cho'Gath, Maokai, Tahm Kench.
- Collector, Obsidian cleaver : Cho'Gath, Sept..
- Infinity force : Shyvana, Sept..
- Manazane : Cho'Gath, Nunu, Sett.
- Zhonya's paradox : Shyvana, Nunu.
Course of the game
First carousel
If you want to force this composition, you should aim for a curved arch or a Wand too big. All in all, it can nevertheless use most components.
Early game (Stage 2)
Levels 3/4 (Round 2-1 or 2-2)
The advantage of this composition is that it is rather easy to play since it follows a natural transition as soon as you have Brawlers. If you find Shyvana quickly, you can already start equipping it, otherwise its items can for example go to Kindred, Nidalee or even Diana for example the time to get it.
Since you are looking for champions at 3 gold, it is interesting to pass 4 level as soon as possible. In particular, you can pre-level » by buying XP per round 1-4. Otherwise, level up by 2-1 ou 2-2.
(Editor's note: Pre-level = Buy experience to be at 4/6 or 8/10 XP for example, and thus level up in the next round.)
Level 5 (Round 2-5)
It may be interesting tobuy more XP in round 2-3 for " pre-level » 5. Pre-leveling means that you will go to level 5 at the start of the next round, and you will therefore have a level 5 shop, increasing your chances of having champions there at 2, 3 and 4 gold.
If you're lucky, you may already have your 6 Brawlers. If not, try playing 3 Dragon Souls ou 3 Sylvestres for example while waiting.
Midgame (Stages 3 and 4)
Level 6 (Round 3-2)
You should almost always pass level 6 in round 3-2 : the faster you level up, the more likely you are to find your important champions (Shyvana, Nunu, Cho'Gath..). If you were in winning streak, and you have a good unit to add, you can level up by 3-1 to keep winning.
At this point you can add a third Sylvestre to boost your Nunu and your maokai.
Level 7 (Round 4-1)
You should always pass level 7 at the start of Stage 4. Logically you should be pretty strong at this point if you have your 6 Brawlers. If you can for example add a Sentinel (Keeper), another option is to play Later (Fortune) by adding Sejuani, Annie, Katarina or even Darius to earn extra gold.
If really your board is weak (you don't have Shyvana ni Nunu 2 stars), or if you lost a lot of HP (you have less than 40 PV), you can roll a little time to find your upgrades. However, avoid going below 30 gold if possible.
Endgame (Stage 5+)
Level 8 (Round 5-1 or 4-5)
In the majority of cases, you will pass 8 level en round 5-1 to keep gold for roll. If you can pass level 8 by 4-5 and keep at least 30 gold (if you were on a winning streak and therefore have great eco), do it. If you have less than 40 HP, you can roll immediately, otherwise wait for the 5-1.
At this point you should roll at least long enough to have most of your 2 star champions and find a Sept. to switch to 8 Brawlers. Once that's done, bump your economy up to 50 gold and start slow rolling: each round you want to roll your gold above 50 to try to get Shyvana et Nunu 3 stars.

IF you have many copies of Vi, maokai et Soot Kench, you can also try to have them 3 stars. However, they are much lower priority. If you don't have much HP left or thatyou are only missing a few copies de Shyvana et / ou Nunu, feel free to roll further to find them.
Level 9 (End of Stage 5 or beginning of Stage 6)
Le 9 level should almost never be your goal unless you've been extremely lucky. Indeed, you should only consider it if you already have Shyvana et Nunu 3 stars and you still have plenty of gold and time left.
In the rare event that you go to level 9, you can add a utility unit like Sejuani ou Aatrox, or a legendary champion like I ne ou Azir.
Positioning Tips
Sept. should if possible be positioned alone in the frontline in order to be targeted first: this allows him to cast his spell very quickly, then drop below 40% HP and come back at the end of the fight. You want to position it so that it grabs an opposing tank and propels it towards the carries. Pay attention to Zéphyrs and Shen, which goes behind him with his spell and forces him to cast his spell backwards.
The rest of the positioning is pretty basic, if possible you want Shyvana gets hit quickly so she transforms and loses opponents' aggro by backing up. Nunu can be faced with an opposing tank for the one-shot with his spell before he even has cast.
Ornn et Vi are more effective at the extremities because their spell hits more targets in those situations.
