The Mercenary composition with Gangplank, Miss Fortune and Tahm Kench
This composition can be played in different ways: you can simply play 3 Mercenaries early in the game, go on a winning streak and end up winning a round for a big reward. But with a increase which gives you an extra Mercenary you can play 5 Mercenaries to try snowball by earning gold and extra components.
In this build, Gangplank is usually your main carry since it can give you a lot of gold per round, but Miss Fortune is also relevant. In the late game, you want to quickly find a Soot Kench to feed him quickly and he becomes very powerful by giving you additional components. If you can pass 7 Mercenaries soon enough, you can earn huge rewards.
Unfolding and passages of levels
Here usually the rounds in which you want to level up. Those marked with a * are to be preferred if you are in a winning streak so you can play more aggressively.
4 level : Round 2-3 (or 2-1*)
5 level : Round 2-7 (or 2-5*)
6 level : Round 3-2 (or 3-1*)
7 level : Round 4-1 (or 3-5*)
8 level : Round 5-1 (or 4-5*)
Le 9 level may be relevant in this composition, but you can also slow roll at level 8 for Gangplank et Miss Fortune 3 stars.

Other Interesting Items
Items for secondary carry : You will get a lot of late game items if you manage to snowball with 5 or 7 Mercenaries and Tahm Kench. You can play other carries like Jinx, Viktor, Jayce, Kai'Sa...
utility items : Similarly, don't overlook the importance of utility items like the Zephyr or Shroud of Calming at the end of the game.
Best Hextech Augments
Always try to choose a Hextech Augmentation based on what you need : generally at the beginning of the game it is appropriate to take a generic Augment since you do not yet know what you are going to play, and then you should try to reinforce the strengths of your composition.

Mercenary's Heart / Emblem / Soul / Ancient Archives : Having additional Mercenaries allows you to play 5 of them easily, or even potentially to play 7 at the end of the game.
Gold Reserves : If you manage to snowball, you will have no trouble getting 50 or 60 gold to boost the damage of your Mercenaries.
Pirates : Even more gold, what more could you ask for?
Cybernetic Implants : With a lot of items and components, you will be able to take advantage of the additional stats on most of your late game champions.
Sharpshooter : This increase greatly increases the damage of your Gangplank
Shrug it off : The regeneration on your Fighters is very relevant.
obviously a lot of Hextech Augmentations are interesting, including ones that give you Emblems or count as additional characters to boost your traits.
What to choose as an emblem (spatula object)?
Mercenary : This emblem is obviously the most important to allow you to quickly increase to 5 Mercenaries.
Sniper : Change Gangplank in Sniper allows him to gain +1 Range, which helps him a lot and can replace an ultra-fast Cannon.
Fighter (Bruiser) : You can play 6 Fighters with this Emblem, which can go on Gangplank.
You can use any more boilerplate emblem like Techno-chemist ( + ) ou Mutant ( + ).
As usual, the Tactician's Crown is always a great option.
Positioning Tips
(Link LoLchess)
Miss Fortune and Zac : You want Miss Fortune and Zac behind each other: this allows Zac to bring two champions back into Miss Fortune's area damage.
Gangplank : You usually want him back behind your frontline, especially if he has a super-fast cannon. Even without, you can put him in the second line, but without putting a champion directly to him so that he can move forward without having to bypass your entire frontline.
Soot Kench : Try to put Tahm Kench in front of the opposing main tank so that he eats him and allows your other champions to target other weaker units or even directly to advance on the backline. Also consider that if your Tahm Kench kills a champion that has items, it gives you a component.
