Taliyah (1) Vladimir (1) LeBlanc (2) Syndra (2) Thresh (2) Nautilus (3) Roads (3) Fire (4)
TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender Mage (6)

After casting a spell, Mages cast a second.

TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender Ocean (4)

All allies gain 35 additional mana every 4 seconds.

TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender Defender (2)

Increases Armor by 150% of all Defenders.

This composition relies heavily on Brand in carry, and sometimes on Vladimir if you have hyper roll. It is relatively affordable and will allow you to be efficient throughout the game. If it's not the best composition for top 1 (unless you're lucky), it usually allows for top 4.

Rabadon's Headdress Lance de Shojin Ultra-fast cannon morellonomicon

This composition relies heavily on Brand and its objects. Lance de Shojin and Rabadon's Headdress will allow him to spam his ultimate to do a lot of damage. the Ultra-fast cannon meanwhile, it will allow your Brand to stay at a safe distance and thus prevent it from being exposed to your opponents.

In addition to the Rabadon Headdress, the TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender Precious Gauntlet can also work on Brand, while the morellonomicon is also very interesting if you are facing a lot of care. Finally, the TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender Pistolame Hextech also works very well on Brand, allowing him to heal a lot if he gets mugged by Assassins for example.

If you have hyper roll you can use items on Vladimir level 3 to turn it into a real tank: with a TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender ghost dancer and TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender dragon claw, it will become nearly unkillable unless opponents have anti-heal.

Last but not least,  syndra may also use objects, in particular theEcho of Luden which will make her very powerful at the start of the game (and which activates twice if her spell is cast twice with the bonus Mage). She can also wear one or two TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender Medallion of the Iron Solari, which makes mages less susceptible to burst and Assassins.

Start of the game and progress

At the start of the game, it will be very easy for you to obtain the two ocean-type mages, Vladimir et syndra and an additional mage with many choices like Taliyah et The White but also Weighs from 3 gold. It is also possible to start on champions Wood / Druid (maokai, Ivern et The White) and use the latter to rotate on 3 Magi, time to find your Défenseurs.

Your goal will be to save as much as possible without buying experience in order to apply a "hyper roll" strategy: after the Krugs, use all your gold (usually 50 to 60 gold) in rerolls to find Vladimir, Taliyah, LeBlanc, syndra et Thresh level 3.

Then, save again until Wolves, then reroll again to find the few champions you need, and level up to 6. Afterwards, start saving again and play in the standard way.

For the mid-game, you can start building your 4 Ocean 2 Defender composition by purchasing Thresh et Nautilus so that they serve as your frontline and protect your 3 Mages.

If you play Taliyah, it may be appropriate to add malphite for the shield offered by the origin Mountain, since you will not be able to play 6 Magi with the 4 Océans before level 8 anyway. You will therefore need to save as much as possible in order to reach it as quickly as possible, while trying not to lose too many HP.

Positioning and options at the end of the game

TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender

If you got one or two Iron Solari Medallion, it is wise to position your Magi in line. Otherwise, try to have Brand, syndra et Weighs in the middle, and Vladimir et Taliyah on the sides, so that these are the first targeted by potential Assassins. This positioning can be modified according to the Elementary boxes.

If you see that many opponents are playing the same composition as you at the start of the game, it is wise not to try to hyper roll (because if everyone is doing it it will be very hard to find the right units) and to instead of bifurcating on a composition 3 Mages / 3 Summoners / 4 Oceans. In both cases, Brand main carry remains.

In the late game, the main problem with this composition is that some of the Magi become very weak, especially Taliyah et The White. If you were able to get your hands on a Spatula, it may be interesting to create a TFT: Compo Mage, Ocean and Defender Mage's Headdress in order to remove one of these units in favor of a better one.

In this scenario, the best unit to add would be Lux Ocean, in order to have the bonus 6 Océans which allows your whole team to use their spells repeatedly thanks to the important generation of mana. Otherwise, any other unit that benefits from a double spell can function, such as Zed ou Annie for example. Thresh also does the trick, especially if you have it level 3.

Another interesting choice at the end of the game is to get rid of one of your Océans, usually Thresh, to add Nami in place. If she does not offer the bonus Défenseur, her ultimate provides very interesting area control, making her a great late game unit.
