The composition Mordekaiser and Draven with 6 Legionnaires
Mordekaiser is able to deal huge magic damage while being very tanky with the right items and most importantly 6 Legionnaires to give him a big attack speed boost. At the same time, this composition can count on Draven in secondary carry, giving him mixed damage.
This composition is not necessarily one of the most flexible, since it depends on fairly precise units and objects. However, it is possible to play Battleships (Ironclad) to Mystics instead of some Legionnaires at the end of the game.
When to Play Comp and Victory Conditions
When to play the composition
This composition depends on certain specific conditions to be truly effective. You don't need to meet them all, but try to meet at least one of these conditions:
- You have good items for Mordekaiser : Mordekaiser needs very specific items to work.
- You are not more than 3 players on the composition : This composition is viable even when you are challenged, but avoid going there if the whole lobby is also trying to play it.
Top 1 Conditions
You will generally need circumstances going your way to win the game.
- Draven or Mordekaiser 3 stars : If you are not contested at all, and if you have one or two Neeko's Helping Hands, you can try to have one of your carries in 3 stars.
- Level 9 with 2-Star Legendary Champions : Most often, the best way to top 1 is to pass 9 and enter as many legendary champions as possible.

Draven acts as a secondary carry, dealing physical damage. With 6 Legionnaires, he needs less attack speed than in a standard build but the defense is quite important because he has nothing to protect him.

Other Interesting Items
Frozen Heart (Shadow or Normal) : This object is excellent on Diana so that it slows the DPS / mana generation of the opposing backline.
Redemption : This object is very interesting to prevent your frontline from dying too quickly.
Iron Solari Medallion : Since you have a lot of melee champions, giving them an initial shield might be a good idea to help them tank.
Items for Viego: Viego can be a great late game carry with a few items like Guardian angel, Pistolame hextech...
What to do with a Spatula?
Legionnaire ( + ): The Legionnaire Spatula allows you to get rid of one of your weakest champions (often Aatrox), and can go on Diana for example. You can also play 8 Legionnaires.
Dragonslayer (Dragonslayer) ( + ): This Spatula can allow you to play 4 Dragon Slayers, and goes very well on a champion like Kayle.
Forgotten (Forgotten) ( + ): This spatula can allow you to play 3 Forgotten, and can go on any of your units.
As usual, the Force of nature is always a great option.

Transition units
Your goal in the early/mid game will be to find a champion to hold your items from. Mordekaiser and Draven. In the process, we will take the example respectively of Kha'Zix et nocturne, but other options are possible:
- ziggs et Kled with Troublemakers
- Brand et Kalista with Abominations
- Zyra et Ashe with Draconic
- Lisandra et The White with meetings...
Early game (Stage 2)
Levels 3/4 (Round 2-1, 2-2 or 2-3)
If you have the possibility, try to make a winning streak at the start of the game. One of the best starts you can have is a Kha'Zix 2 stars who carries very well the objects of Mordekaiser. Try to position him on the side of the opposing carries so that he kills them quickly.
If you have a solid board, go directly to the 4 level to try to win your rounds. Otherwise, try on the contrary to stay weak to make a losing streak and have at least carousel priority.
Level 5 (Round 2-5 or 2-7)
If you're on a winning streak, go up level 5 in round 2-5 for example to switch to 4 Heralds of Dawn (Dawnbringer). Otherwise, just level up normally by round 2-7.
Midgame (Stages 3 and 4)
Level 6 (Round 3-1 or 3-2)
You should always pass level 6 in round 3-2 at the latest: the faster you level up, the more likely you are to find your important champions (Mordekaiser, Draven...). If you were in winning streak, and you have a good unit to add, you can level up by 3-1 to keep winning.
At this point, begin to set aside all Legionnaires you see, with a view to starting your level 7 transition. If you are lucky enough to have a Mordekaiser quickly, you can start changing your units right now, because it is very powerful even in 1 star.
Level 7 (Round 3-5 or 4-1)
You should most often pass level 7 at the start of Stage 4. If you were still winning streak, You can pass level 7 from round 3-5 to stay strong, then roll a 4-1.
In fact, you want roll at the start of Stage 4 to make your transition: all you need is a Mordekaiser and a Draven 1 star, with if possible some 2 star champions (Aatrox, Kalista, Riven ou Yasuo) and you should be very powerful with the right items.
Avoid rolling below 30 gold if possible. You should win most rounds once you have your Mordekaiser with the right items, take the opportunity to boost your economy up to 50.
Endgame (Stage 5+)
Level 8 (Round 4-5 or 5-1)
If you had a great economy or were in winning streak in Stage 4, you can climb level 8 and 4-5. Otherwise, wait round 5-1. You can then play 6 Legionnaires.
Au 8 level, you should roll time to have most of your champions, especially Mordekaiser, 2 stars. Feel free to roll down to 0 if needed.
If you see that you are not disputed at all and if you have a Neeko's helping hand, you can try to have Mordekaiser ou 3 stars.
Once you have stabilized your composition with most of your important champions 2 stars, you will have a choice to make. You have three options depending on your game state:
- If you are low on HP and playing for top 4 : You should donkey roll (roll to 0 every round) to get all your 2 star champions.
- If you still have a good economy and more than 60 PV : You can try to pass level 9 to improve your composition.
- If you have 7 or more copies of Mordekaiser or Draven : You can boost your economy a bit and then roll everything when you don't have a lot of VP left to try to get your 3-star carry.
Level 9 (Round 5-5 or beginning of Stage 6)
If you have a lot of gold, you can probably pass 9 level au round 5-5, otherwise you should aim for the start of the Stage 6. Then try to pass your viego en 2 stars and replace Riven by Kayle.
At this level, you can for example add a Ryze who gives you Forget it. Another option is to add Thread, Darius or any other relevant utility champion. You can also remove Trundle et Pantheon in favor of more legendary champions.
Positioning Tips
Pay attention to the positioning of your Draven who wants to avoid if possible being the opposite of Vel'Koz, and at the same time avoid being on the same side as the Assassins opponents.
Diana should be positioned towards the opposing carries to hinder them as much as possible. If you manage to get Diana on a carry with a frozen heart, you will often win the round on this.
