TFT Set 4.5 is already available on the PBE. With 20 new champions, new traits, and new mechanics, it's easy to get lost.
If you want to try the game before its official release, here is a list of ten compositions that you can play. Note that these are not necessarily the most optimal versions, and we invite you to experiment to find out what works and what doesn't!

Compo Mage / Dragonsoul with Aurelion Sol on the Set 4.5 PBE
Back as on Set 1, Aurelion Sol is a great replacement for Ahri, benefiting very well from the bonus Mage and its double laser. Mage synergy is now limited to 7 units, which makes this level rather easy to reach, and can make your carry very powerful.
Aurelion Sol benefits from any magic power items (Rabadon, precious gauntlet, hand of justice) or mana (Buff bleu, Shojin...).
Another option is to play it with 6 Dragonsoul (dragon soul) instead of 7 Mages, which is particularly interesting if you have good defensive items for your Swain which can then inflict very heavy damage.
Compo Executioner / Divine with Kayle / Xayah on the PBE
Kayle Inflicts huge damage over time if you manage to get your hands on a Chosen One Execute (Executioner), allowing all of his crit attacks, while xayah also deals good area damage.
Le Ultra-fast cannon is almost essential on Kayle so that she stays in her corner, but the others are more flexible, usually with an offensive object (hand of justice, Discount, giant slayer...) and a defensive one.
Another option if you have a chosen Divine Being is to play 6 Divine Beings, although in this version Kayle is less powerful than Warwick could be in main carry.
Compo Slayer/Ninja/Sharpshooter with Olaf/Zed/Samira on the PBE
Samira is very powerful at the start of PBE, especially in conjunction with other Slayers (Murderers) and sivir to boost everyone's attack speed. Olaf can also be a formidable carry if he has a Ultra-fast cannon to attack from a distance anddragon soul.
Samira can use most physical or magical damage items (Rabadon, Infinity Edge, Deadly Blade, Precious Gauntlet...). Olaf can also use a good variety of objects besides his RFC.
Another option is to play directly 6 Slayers, especially if you have Zed lives for example. In this case, he can be your main carry trying to get him. 3 stars with a strategy slow roll niveau 7 and Ninjas for help.
Compo Fabled / Vanguard / Mystic with Neeko on the PBE
The bonus Fabled can be very powerful, allowing Cho'Gath to control all opposing champions, while neeko inflicts huge area damage with his spell. This composition is similar to the Vanguard (Initiator) / Mystic of Set 4, who played Ahri instead of Neeko.
Neeko actually needs a mana generation item to cast quickly (blue buff ou Lance de Shojin), and magic power items to do its damage.
Compo Enlightened with Talon on the PBE
This comp doesn't leverage many new champions, but the trait's massive buff Enlightened (Legend) allows your champions to cast their spell very regularly. There where Morgana inflicts good area damage, Heel can easily finish off the few remaining champions, especially in a meta where few people position themselves around the Assassins.
Le morellonomicon is essential on Morgana for her to be effective, while Talon can use a wide variety of physical damage items (Infinity blade in mind, but also Hand of Justice, Giantslayer, Bloodlust...).
Compo Brawler with Shyvana on the PBE
The Brawlers (Brawler) have been changed on the PBE: in addition to HP, the trait now also grants AD, making Shyvana a carry of choice if you have a chosen Brawler. You can then play 8, or only 6 which allows you to enter 3 Dragon Souls and sivir for its attack speed bonus.
With this composition, Shyvana is your main carry: try to get it 3 stars. Nunu is also interesting, while Sept. can be a late game carry with magic power items.
Compo Warlord / Slayer with Tryndamere / Katarina on the PBE
Finally, if you want to play Tryndamere carry, you have a lot of options: you can play it in a comp Duelist, Slayer (Murderer) Or Warlord (master of war). We especially recommend the latter, with still other champions to activate its two other traits, and Katarina for its area damage.
Tryndamere benefits greatly from AD, making him an excellent carrier of Doom Blade or Infinity blade. Attack speed items or certain defensive ones (Guardian angel, Mercury, Will of the Titan) are also relevant on it.
