The official patch is now deployed. You can find all the information on this link.
Xerath, new TFT champion
Riot Games has just announced the release of Xerath in patch 10.8! The latter will be a legendary champion (at 5 gold) class Wizard and original Press Shadow. His spell will allow him to change into living artillery, capable of pounding opponents with meteors. He will therefore be the ideal end-game carry for Sorcerer and Dark Pulsar compositions.

Patch 10.8 PBE System Changes
In a post on the Reddit forum (source in English), Riot Statikk clarified the arrival of changes to the damage suffered by players during a defeat. These aim to prevent players from being able to go until the end of the game without taking too much risk through losing streaks, and to make the pace of the games less predictable.
- The damage taken from a defeat depends more on the number of champions still alive. In 10.7 the figure was only +1 per unit.
- As a result, the base damage based on phase has been reduced : 0/3/4/5/10/15/20 → 0/1/1/2/5/10/15
Number of living champions | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 |
Damage dealt | 2 | 4 | 6 | 8 | 10 | 11 | 12 | 13 | 14 |
Additionally, Riot is slightly rolling back the win/loss streak buff from patch 10.6. They are now a little less interesting:
old system :
- 2 wins/losses = +1 gold
- 3 wins/losses = +2 gold
- 4+ wins/losses = +3 Range
New system :
- 2/3 wins/losses = +1 Range
- 4 wins/losses = +2 gold
- 5+ wins/losses = +3 Range
This article is updated regularly to reflect the current state of the PBE.
